Professor Thiruvannathapuram Kuppuswami Venkatasubramanian
Professor Thiruvannathapuram Kuppuswami Venkatasubramanian was born in the year 1947 at Ambasamudram in Tirunelveli (Kattabomman) District of Tamil Nadu. He completed his M.A. in History from Presidency College, Madras in 1968 and was awarded the doctorate in History from Madras University in 1979.
Alter having served as an Assistant Professor and Professor under Tamil Nadu Collegiate Education Service at the postgraduate level from 1971 - 84, he joined the University of Delhi as a Reader in 1984 and became a Professor in 1994.
Thiru. T.K. Venkatasubramanian service in the company (NCC) has ever been useful and admirable. He combines organisational skill with conversational ability and zest. His proficiency in English is his asset. He has been one of the very active member of the Honorary Volunteer Corps.
Professor T.K. Venkatasubramanian is a "National Cadet Corps" certified senior under officer rank holder in 1966. He is 'C' certificate rank holder in "The Ministry Of Defence Government Of India" Unit 14 Madras Battalion NCC.
Professor T.K. Venkatasubramanian was born to Professor T.V. Kuppuswami and Mrs Lakshmi in 1947 at the place of Ambasamudram. His paternal grandfather, K. Venkatasubramanian was a practicing physician in Tirunelveli.
